Ok, so Zombieland isn't actually out until Some time in October but I had the privelage of viewing it early today so here is my general review:


Beware of possible plot spoiers.





Genre: Horror/ Comedy

Viewer Rating: "R" - There is definately a reason for this. The movie was primarily rated for language and gore. The worst of the gore is within the first 30-45 minutes of the film, after which The story focuses more on the characters personalities, but there are various gore events throughout. Languagewise the issues are not as often as they could be but they are fond Of the F-bomb. GD is implied but is stated simply at first as "GD" until later.

Summary: Zombieland is basically the new name for the earth because practically everyone who is on the planet has become a zombie thanks to a bad batch of "mad cow disease" that turned into something more. We start off in Texas (Hooah! Crowd cheers...) and gradually make our way to California with our 4 heroes who are all in search of zombie-free land (One of whom is on a neverending search for an unexpired Twinky...). Fans of the video game "Left For Dead": This is your dream movie. I'm not usually a big fan of (R rated) horror movies, and I could have gone without how far they pushed some of the gore, but overall this was actually one of the funniest movies I have seen in a while.
